The Laurie Archives and Special Collections at The University of the South is comprised of the following divisions: University Archives, the Personal Papers Collection, the Book Collections, the Museum Collection, the Permanent Collection of Decorative and Fine Arts, and the Records of the Episcopal Church Dioceses of Tennessee.
The Archives and Special Collections are open Monday-Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm; and also from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon by appointment. They are located within the Jessie Ball duPont Library on Georgia Avenue, in Sewanee.

Buggytop Cave
This is a moderately difficult 4-mile roundtrip hike at Head of the Crow State Park takes you to one of the largest cave openings in Tennessee, and the only one from which water normally flows. There are two steep ascent/descent areas; one at each end of this trail. Access this adventure from the Lost Cove West Trailhead.
