In 1995, Woody’s Bicycles opened its doors in Winchester, TN as a satellite of J&M Bicycles of Tullahoma. A year later J&M Bicycles closed, and Woody’s Bicycles became an independent dealer of Schwinn and GT bicycles. Over time, Woody’s Bicycles would add Raleigh, Moots and Voodoo to its product offerings and would eventually become a Trek and Gary Fisher authorized dealer. 

In 2008, the business moved to its current location in Sewanee, TN. Woody’s Bicycles is a full-service bicycle shop offering bicycle repair, rentals, and sales of new and used bicycles, electric bicycles, clothing, and accessories. Woody’s Bicycles is an authorized Trek and Electra dealer and offers components, clothing, and accessories from an array of brands. 

In addition to all things bicycle, the shop’s staff has a wealth of knowledge of the local area’s bike trails and routes in addition to other amenities and experiences the plateau has to offer.
