Lake Cheston

Lake Cheston trailhead

Take US 41A 3.8 miles west from I-24, Exit 135, then right at the "University of the South" stone sign onto University Avenue. Continue 1.0 miles on University Avenue, into the heart of the campus, and turn right on Texas Avenue, just past the short "EQB" stone monument, in the center of a small park. Follow Texas Avenue about 0.4 miles, just past the football field (on your left) and then turn right onto Breakfield Road for 900 feet. As you approach the baseball complex on the right, look to the left for a small dirt road, Crosby Lane. Take Crosby Lane about 3/10 mile out to the parking lot at its end. The Lake Cheston pavilion, on your right, is immediately adjacent to the trailhead.
