The annual Festival Service of Lessons and Carols is a cherished tradition at the University of the South in Sewanee, featuring the University Choir and special guest instrumentalists performing seasonal music, as well as members of the University community reading traditional prayers and lessons.
The services, held in the All Saints' Chapel on-campus, are open to the public, with walk-up seating available. Doors typically open an hour before the service begins. Reserved seating may be offered to university students and employees, with details usually available on or shortly after November 1.
The services are often live-streamed for those unable to attend in person, allowing friends and family to participate virtually. The live stream can usually be accessed approximately 10 minutes prior to the service time.
For the most current information, it's advisable to check the official Sewanee website.
