Swiss Heritage Celebration

Saturday, July 26

Gruetli-Laager

The Swiss Celebration features authentic, live Swiss music, with wine and cheese tasting in the shed that once housed the Stampfli family’s early Model T Ford automobile. The event generally continues into the evening with a potluck dinner and dancing to the music of a local bluegrass band.

Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including:

  • Wine and cheese tastings

  • Live German Polka music

  • Farm rides

  • Crafts

  • Treats from Tennessee's oldest family-owned bakery, Dutch Maid Bakery

The celebration supports preserving and restoring the 1800s farm, providing a glimpse into the region's Swiss heritage.  For more information on the Swiss Celebration, visit its website at SwissHistoricalSociety.org.
